Where Cultures Meet
Our Mission
About Us
When Culture Becomes Understanding
NUNTI is a non-profit association dedicated to fostering intercultural understanding between Thailand and Sweden through stories, lived experiences, and reflections on society.

So NUNTI works in practice
How we build a cultural bridge
NUNTI – Cultural Bridge Association (Thailand–Sweden) works to promote intercultural understanding through real-life experiences, shared knowledge, and reflection on society.
Our work is grounded in people’s lived experiences and aims to reduce misunderstandings and strengthen human dignity.
Stories from real lives
We highlight voices of people living between Thailand and Sweden – including Thai women, professionals, and families. Through lived experiences, we shed light on everyday life, working life, and encounters with social structures.
Cultural explanation – not cultural defence
NUNTI explains cultural contexts, norms, and language use – without defending or idealising. The aim is to create nuanced understanding and to challenge simplified generalisations.
Dialogue and social reflection
Personal experiences are connected to broader societal issues such as media, institutions, policy, and public narratives. Current events are used as a basis for reflection and dialogue – not for judgement.
From experience to shared learning
Through stories and reflection, we create space for shared learning where different perspectives meet with respect. Our goal is to promote deeper understanding, equality, and human dignity in a multicultural society.

What we highlight today

Language and dignity

Individuals and structures

Our public voice
Our point of departure
Part of our communication takes place through a storytelling format such as Soothing Shorts – where complex issues are made accessible without being oversimplified.
Human dignity
We start from human dignity, not from the idea of a perfect society.
Understanding before defence
From understanding – not defence.
Dialogue before quick conclusions
From dialogue – not quick conclusions.
Intercultural understanding begins with listening and reflection – not with prejudice.
